1. Installation steps
Choose the appropriate socket:
First, make sure that the socket you choose is a Schuko socket that meets the standards set by the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC).
Check whether the rated voltage and rated current of the socket match your device.
Prepare tools:
You will need a screwdriver to fix the socket (if the socket needs to be mounted on the wall).
Install the socket:
If the socket needs to be mounted on the wall, use a screwdriver to fix the socket in the predetermined position.
Make sure that the socket is firmly installed and flush with the wall.
Insert Schuko Plug Insert:
Gently insert the Schuko Plug Insert into the socket. Note that when inserting, make sure that the metal part of the plug is completely aligned with the contact point of the socket.
Do not use excessive force to avoid damaging the plug or the socket.
2. Precautions for use
Check the electrical connection: After inserting the Schuko Plug Insert, gently pull the plug to make sure it is firmly inserted into the socket. If the plug is easily pulled out, it may be a bad electrical connection and should be reinserted or replaced.
Avoid overload: Pay attention to the current and voltage required by your device and make sure they do not exceed the rating of the socket. Overload may cause electrical fire or damage to the equipment.
Waterproof and dustproof: Keep the socket and plug dry and clean. Avoid using in a damp, dusty environment. If there is water or dust on the socket or plug, wipe it clean with a dry cloth before using it.
Avoid frequent plugging and unplugging: Although the Schuko Plug Insert is designed to be durable, frequent plugging and unplugging may cause the contact points to wear or loosen. Minimize unnecessary plugging and unplugging operations.
Regular inspection: Check the status of the socket and plug regularly. If damage or wear is found, replace it immediately.
Follow the instructions for use: Follow the instructions for use provided by the device manufacturer. Do not use the plug for unapproved devices or purposes.
